CORRUPTION

I think the place to start is with the corruption. Which is why this is the first contemplation. None of the other contemplations have the space (context) to take place in if you don't first bear witness to what appears to be the magnitude of corruption taking place at all the levels.

Seems to me that amidst the Monopoly Game that was created throughout history with all the money, banking, law making, codes, rules, regulations, statutes, ordinances, policies, orders, mandates, and edicts… that we find ourselves where a small handful of characters (family lines) have all the houses and hotels stacked on Park Place and Boardwalk. The only difference here is that instead of running out of the paper money to end the game (of rampant consumerism, competition)... here the players keep creating more (and more and more) money for them to accumulate.

It's like the game is out of control.

There also seems a consensus that the stories must be true because it would be impossible to pull off the lies some (like me) are proposing. That too many people would need to be involved to pull it off.  What I believe this page's contemplation demonstrates is that you can plant whatever stories you want into the minds (and characters) of men, women, boys, and girls when you control (nearly) all the coordination systems and sources of information , i.e. education, media, government, medicine, science, entertainment, economic, etc. 

 

For generations we've also been taught (conditioned) to trust Authority.
And... what if they're not telling the truth?

What information (evidence) might (could, would) bring you / me / us to this conclusion?
